It was only five months ago when Brittany Murphy was found dead in her home. Sadly, her husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead under similar circumstances on Sunday, May 23, 2010. His body was discovered by his mother-in-law at his Hollywood home. There were several pill bottles in his bedroom, some of them were empty. There weren't any signs of foul play but Monjack did have heart complications and was suppose to undergo a bypass surgery in September. An autopsy is scheduled which will confirm the exact cause of death.

Heigl claims the decision was exactly what she wanted. Her views of working full-time have been altered since the arrival of her adopted baby girl, Naleigh. Time after time celebrities use their notoriety for a good cause. This is one of them. Scarlett Johansson has written Congressman George Miller in order to ask him to support the Healthy School Meals Act of 2010. This act, initiated by Representative Jared Polis, would reward school districts for offering plant-based vegetarian options and healthful non-dairy beverages. Johansson has been an advocate for feeding hungy children and in the letter states the importance of providing children with heathly lunchroom meals filled with more fruits and vegetables in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and to combat childhood obesity.

Johansson wrote, "School is an environment where children develop life skills, skills that help them to become responsible young people who will one day be able to care for themselves. A means to a healthy diet and nutritional education must begin in the school cafeteria, on the lunch line". We should all follow her example and push for this act.

It appears Nadya Suleman or "Octomom", has fallen behind on recent mortgage payments and may lose her house. The house she bought in 2009 in La Habra is in jeopardy since she has not made the recent mortgage payment of $4,139 or paid the mass amount of $450,000 that was owed on March 10, 2010. The seller, Amer Haddadin, originally sold the house to Sulemen and put the title of the house in Suleman's father's name with the agreement that she would make the monthly payments for one year and pay the large sum on the due date. Now it seems he is pretty upset and a rep for him has been speaking to the media. This isn't the first time either. She has been late on a couple of other payments as well.

Poor kids! It doesn't look like any of the 14 children will ever have a sense of stability because of their mother's choices.

The police did say that he is not required to discuss the matter any further. Woods said that he takes full responsibility for the accident and that it was his fault. There is no reason to believe that alcohol was involved. The golfer was released from the hospital and is doing better.

Recently, there have been rumors of Woods having an affair with a woman named Rachel Utchitel. Woods denies these stories.

Kelly Osborne has done very well on the show, Dancing With The Stars. She is one of four couples left, fighting for a spot in the finals. Although you can't tell it when she is dancing she is in extreme pain in her feet. She suffered a foot injury a while back on the show but prior to that she has torn the cartilage in the bunion in both of her feet and needs surgery to stop her pain. However, she refuses to leave DWTS to have the surgery so it will have to wait until the show is over. What a trooper!

Tokio Hotel's Lead Singer In Car Accident

Bill Kaulitz, from the band Tokio Hotel, was in a major car accident last week while driving in Germany. Apparently, as Kaulitz was driving, a car pulled out into his lane and as he tried to avoid it he lost control of the car and swerved into the guardrails. Thankfully, he is alright, although it seems he won't be forgetting how lucky he was to come out of this accident without a single scratch.

Although there has been no official statement from lead singer, Steven Tyler, it appears he has left the band Aerosmith. Perhaps to go solo? Joe Perry claims he "quit as far as I can tell". Tyler hasn't been in contact with the other band members. Tensions within the band have grown since Tyler's accident in August where he fell off a stage during a show and broke his shoulder. Perry plans to keep the band moving forward and has been looking for another lead singer.

Victim of Roman Polanski Wants Case Dropped

Let's rewind a little. In 1977, Polanski first plead guilty to drugging and rapping, at that time, 13-year-old Samantha Geimer. However, Polanski fled the country before being sentenced and paying for his crimes. In 1988, Geimer then sued Polanski for the amount of $500,000. Recently, he has been arrested and held in Switzerland, pending a case that will determine if he will be sent back to the U.S. for his crimes.

In the surprising turn of events, Geimer now wants the entire case to disappear. Her lawyer, Lawrence Silver, has requested that the California appeals court please drop the criminal case because by bringing it up again it has brought Geimer suffering in areas of her life affecting her job, health, and family. She is being bombarded by reporters and media attention.

If this case is dropped many people fear it will send the wrong message and hinder other rape victims from coming forward. It has been a long time, but do you think Polanski should be let off the hook?

Singer, Leona Lewis, was punched in the face by 29-year-old Peter Kowalczyk, at her book signing in London on Wednesday (Oct. 14, 2009). Lewis, there to promote her autobiography titled, Dreams, was signing copies at a book store when Kowalczyk came up and hit her. He was immediately corralled by security and later arrested and charged by police. He will appear in a UK court on Oct. 26, 2009. Lewis was visibly upset and was taken to a hospital for precautions.

For those who weren't aware, Harry Potter's, Dame Maggie Smith, also known as Professor McGonagall, has been fighting breast cancer since 2007. However, she is determined to make it through filming the last movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. Perhaps you didn't notice, but she was enduring chemotherapy treatment during the last movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince which left her weak and without hair (she wore a wig for her part). Apparently, she is doing better and is determined to finish the her role. She is a brave, strong- willed woman, who happens to be an incredible actress.
