Elisabeth Hasselbeck Back On "The View"

After spending time away from, "The View", to bond with her new baby (and third child), Isaiah Timothy, Elisabeth Hasselbeck will return on October 19, 2009. The ladies of the show have filled her spot with guest host"celebrities" like Kate Gosselin, Heidi Montag, and Khloe Kardashian. Hmmm....I think I prefer Elisabeth. Welcome back!

Kate, Plus 8, MINUS Jon!

TLC has announced that as of November 2, 2009, Jon Gosselin will not appear as often on the reality based show, "Jon And Kate, Plus 8". The show, which chronicles the life of two parents raising a set of twins and sextuplets, will now, moreover, feature a single mother raising her eight children. The show will now be called, "Kate Plus 8". Perhaps the reason for this change is the new lifestyle and poor media attention Jon has received for his actions over the last couple of months. This is yet another example of how divorce can be messy, especially a publicly viewed one.

Jessica Biel Will Conquer Mount Kilimanjaro

Jessica Biel, along with Isabel Lucas and Lupe Fiasco, will travel to Africa in January to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. It is all for a well deserving cause-the "Summit on the Summit" expedition, which will raise awareness of the global clean water crisis. This expedition is led by producer and singer, Kenna. This sounds like a great cause. Maybe Justin Timberlake will join Jessica?

Khloe Kardashian To Marry Lamar Odom Sunday

Khloe Kardashian, from the reality series, "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", is going to marry boyfriend and NBA player, Lamar Odom, on Sunday (Sept. 27,2009). The two have only been dating for a month and they are ready to walk down the isle. Odom has two children from ex-girlfriend, Liza Morales, whom he dated for 11 years. Could this be a publicity stunt or is this true love? What do you think?

Madonna To Be On "SNL"

It has been 16 years since the "Queen of Pop" has stepped foot on the "Saturday Night Live" stage and she is apparantly set to be returning some time this season. The show will most likely have her host and perform. That is a long time to be away. Do you think people will watch?

Katherine Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, welcomed a new baby! Heigl and Kelley have recently adopted a 10-month-old baby girl from Korea, whom they named Naleigh. Congradulations!

President Barack Obama will be on "The Late Show With Dave Letterman" on Monday (Sept 21, 2009). This isn't the first time President Obama has been on but it is the first time he will be on as President of the United States. It sounds like a good show? Will you watch?

Patrick Swayze Loses Battle to Cancer

Actor, Patrick Swayze, died today (Monday Sept. 14th, 2009), after a hard battle with pancreatic cancer. Swayze was diagnosed with the disease back in March of 2008. It was reported that his family remained by his side. He was only 57 years old. Prayers go out to him and his family.

Hugh Hefner Files For Divorce...Finally

Playboy's founder, Hugh Hefner, has filed for divorce from second wife and former Playboy model, Kimberly Conrad. "Irreconcilable differences" were cited in L.A. court records. It wouldn't be that exciting except for the fact that the two have been separated for 11 years! Did I mention she lives next door to Hef? They were married in 1989 and have two sons together. He is 83 years old, she is 47. Something tells me that the two will do just fine.

Ellen DeGeneres to Replace Paula Abdul on "American Idol"

I don't know about you but I'm so excited! The talented and beloved talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is going to be joining Idol as the 4th judge, replacing Paula Abdul. Ellen announced the happy news on her show. According to a press release released by Fox and Idol, producers are "thrilled" at the new addition. Besides winning a total of 29 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Talk Show host, her love of music, humanitarianism, acting career, and incredible track record of hosting multiple award shows like The 79th Annual Academy Awards has earned her the credibility of filling the spot. I can't wait to see what she brings to the show.

"Melrose Place" Remake Begins Tonight Only on CW

First, came the remake of Beverly Hills 90210 and now Melrose Place returns tonight at 9pm on the CW. The remake includes singer/actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Katie Cassidy, daughter of The Partridge Family's David Cassidy.

It seems like the 90's are repeating themselves but is it necessarily a good or bad idea? What do you think? Will you watch?
