Although Britney Spears' father, Jamie, still holds a conservatorship over his daughter, things are looking up. She was evaluated by a psychiatrist, the court appointed, and found that she is healthy. She can now have the freedom to parent her children as she sees fit as well as go wherever she pleases. However, her father still holds control over her business affairs.

Mariah Carey Expecting?

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon have yet to officially confirm it but there is strong speculation that she is pregnant. Carey dropped out of the upcoming Tyler Perry film she was slated for due to medical reasons. In fact, Cannon recently posted this message on his Twitter account, "If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally. Thanks for being respectful GodBless". He didn't deny it! Could it be true?

"Glee"s Jane Lynch Weds Partner

On Monday, May 31, 2010 actor and Glee star, Jane Lynch, married her partner, Lara Embry, in Massachusetts. They even managed to sneak off without having to deal with paparazzi. The two wed in a private ceremony at the Blue Heron Restaurant. After they enjoyed a lovely dinner with their 21 guests. Congrats!

Victoria's Secret Model In Transformers 3...Maybe

Now that Megan Fox has opted to not partcipate in the third installation of Transformers, Michael Bay is considering gorgeous Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to take her place. She read for the part and no doubt will be great eye candy for the male audience. Apparently the connection came about since Michael Bay directed one of Victoria's Secret's action paked commercials and his house has even been used for shoots. Good luck girl!

Brittany Murphy's Husband Found Dead

It was only five months ago when Brittany Murphy was found dead in her home. Sadly, her husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead under similar circumstances on Sunday, May 23, 2010. His body was discovered by his mother-in-law at his Hollywood home. There were several pill bottles in his bedroom, some of them were empty. There weren't any signs of foul play but Monjack did have heart complications and was suppose to undergo a bypass surgery in September. An autopsy is scheduled which will confirm the exact cause of death.

Mark Twain's Autobiography to be Released After 100 Years

American author, Mark Twain, spent 10 years of his life writing an autobiographical memoir that was not to be released until 100 years after his death. Well, time is up and the manuscript, which has been locked away in a vault at the University of California, Berkeley, will be released. It will be a trilogy and the fist volume will appear in November. It will provide new insight into the life of the literary icon.

Bono Has Emergency Surgery

It was announced Friday, May 21,2010, that U2's lead singer, Bono, underwent some major back sugery. He suffered and injury while rehearsing for their world tour which is set to begin in the US in June. He is at a hospital in Munich and will be sent home to recover. Little is known yet about the details and how long this will postpone their tour dates. Get well!

Who Will Replace Megan Fox In Next "Transformers" Film?

News broke today that Megan Fox is not going to be in the third installation of Transformers. Michael Bay will have to find a new leading lady. Fortunately, there is one person who already wants the job...Heidi Montag-Pratt! She went on her Twitter account and tried to reach out to Bay. She mentioned how she loves his work and wants him to cast her in the next film. With all the plastic surgery she's had and the pain she is still feeling from recovering (not to mention the lack of acting experience) would that be the best choice for him to consider?

Wyclef Jean's Charitable Move

On May 10, 2010, singer/producer Wyclef Jean treated three injured Haitian amputees to a shopping spree worth $1,000 after they were flown to New York to prepare for medical procedures. On May 18, 2010 Jean also treated them to whatever they desired at Kmart. The three children were Chantal Mori, 17, Margarette Pierre, 17, and Farah Maurice, 8. Both elder girls lost an arm while the youngest lost a leg. All three were brought over through Jean's charity Yele Haiti and the Global Medical Relief Fund. They will flown to Philadelphia to be fitted for prosthetics on June 3, 2010.

Barbara Walters' Heart Surgery A Success

Barbara Walters, 80, underwent heart surgery due to a heart valve that was faulty. Walters' surgery went well and she is now recovering. She will be out of commission from her hosting job at The View for three months. People were shocked to learn on May 10, 2010 she needed surgery. Walter's chose not to disclose it until time came closer. Get well!

Jeff Bridges In Trouble With The IRS

A tax lien was filed by the IRS against actor, Jeff Bridges, for the amount of $23,997. It was filed with the LA County Recorder of Deeds on April 7, 2010. It was a result of taxes from employment which was owed in 2002 and 2004 and never paid. Bridges just won an Oscar for his role in the film, Crazy Heart. Well you know what they say? "More money, more problems". Pay your taxes people!

Pro Golfer Found Dead

Erica Blasberg, 25, was found dead on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at her Nevada home. Police are investigating her death but it appears no foul play was at hand. Blasberg grew up in Corona, Ca. She attended the University of Arizona. In 2004, she became a professional golfer. She played on the Ladies professional Golf Association Tour for over 5 years. She was a brand ambassador for Puma's golf apparel line. She had a promising future. It is a tragedy.

Taylor Swift Has a Big Heart

Country star singer Taylor Swift donated $500,000 to aid her home city of Nashville in the wake of the devastating flood that destroyed so much. Swift moved to Nashville at 14 and she wanted to help the city that she loves dearly. The relief will aid several organizations in helping flood victims. Thirty people have been killed by the disaster which has swept three states.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Grey's Anatomy) and Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill), have been dating since 2009, although not many people knew about it until recently. Surprisingly, news came out that Burton gave birth months ago to their baby boy! Their romance moved fast! How did that go unnoticed? Apparently, she stayed out of the media the whole time she was pregnant. It is always hard to hide a relationship in Hollywood but a pregnancy is very difficult. Interestingly enough, Morgan found out from actress Sherri Ross last year that he was the father her son, now 5-years-old. Crazy!

Halle Berry & Ex-Boyfriend Stay Civil For Their Daughter

It was announced a few days ago that actress Halle Berry and her model boyfriend of 5 years, Gabriel Aubry have split. However, it appears the breakup actually happened a few months ago. That may explain why they haven't been photographed together since last year. Both remain on civil terms with each other to make it the best situation for their 2-year-old daughter, Nahla. The two have even ironed out a custody agreement which will give each parent 50/50 custody.

It's sad to see a great couple end a relationship. That's more than Hollywood-that's life!

Mark McGrath Becomes a Dad Times 2

Lead singer of Sugar Ray, Mark McGrath and fiance Carin Kingsland became parents for the first time today in Los Angeles, to a twin boy and girl named Lyndon Edward and Hartley Grace. The two have been together for 16 years and became engaged last year. They announced in April they were expecting twins due to IVF treatments. Congrats!

No more Michael Scott? Apparently so, because Steve Carell is planning on making the seventh season of the hit TV show, The Office, which airs next year, his last. Carell plays such an important role as the boss everyone loves to watch due to his inappropriateness and need to be liked. Lisa Kudrow's New Show

We've all missed her! Showtime has grabbed all 45 episodes of Lisa Kudrow's online show called Web Therapy. Kudrow plays a psychiatrist named Fiona Wallace who gives advice to her patients via webcam. Each show is 10 minutes long but Showtime will make them over to a 30 minute episode. Web Therapy will premiere later this year. Exciting!

Finally! Kate Gosselin Cast Off DWTS

Justice is served! Kate Gosselin has been a contestant on Dancing With The Stars for too long. Last night she and partner Tony Dovoloni didn't get enough viewer votes and were eliminated from the show. She had the lowest number of points this week and she looked very unmotivated while dancing. Half of the time all the audience would see is poor Dovoloni getting frustrated at trying to motivate Gosselin while she complained how she couldn't understand the particular dance they were practicing. When it came time to perform she looked like she didn't want to be there, as she hardly smiled or danced at all.
So why did she go on the show? She said she did it for her eight children. However, did she really know what she was getting into or was it just for the money and media coverage (which she claims she doesn't like)?

Miley Cyrus Bought $3.4 Million House

Miley Cyrus may only be 17 years old but she's also a celebrity. That explains her recent purchase of a $3.4 million home in Toluca Lake. The house, which previously belonged to Freddie Prinze Jr., has a tennis court, swimming pool, recording studio, 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a guesthouse with a wet bar, 2 bedrooms and a living room. Do you think she needed a house that large? Let's hope she pays her bills and property taxes each year so she doesn't end up like the rest of Hollywood.

Simon Cowell to Have Four Weddings

Simon Cowell is going to marry fiance Mezhgan Hussainy in four separate locations. Cowell's brother Tony, mentioned that they are going to hold ceremonies in Los Angeles, England, Hollywood, and Barbados. This is a man who used to be in long term relationships but never considered himself the marrying kind. It looks like he finally found the right woman. Isn't four weddings a little excessive?

Two Members of Dixie Chicks Branch Out

Although the Dixie Chicks have been on hiatus for four years and have every intention of returning with a new album, two have them have expanded and created an entirely different band. Emily Robison and Martie Maguire are not only sisters in The Dixie Chicks, they are also the dou that make up the Court Yard Hounds. Their album, full of songs that are made up of personal experiences, will be released on May 4. It may be different not having lead singer Natalie Maines on lead vocals but the two are excited. Maines is said to be very supportive of her two bandmates.

Dupre recently obtained a relationship column for the New York Post and has started her own blog titled, "Stiletto Suicide". New "Sex and the City 2" Trailor

This one is better than the last one! SATC fans are drooling over the sequel's new trailor because it gives even more details. The girls of New York are back on May 27 and this anticipated movie will feature Anthony and Stanford's wedding with a performance by Liza Minnelli, a trip to Abu Dhabi, Miley Cyrus, and Aiden! The storyline looks very promising with Samantha facing the agony of getting old, Charlotte and Miranda managing "motherhood", and Carrie tying to reignite the spark in her marriage while having a chance meeting with the former love of her life. Of course, the new trailor speaks for itself.

Justin Timberlake's Signs On For Next Movie Role

Although Justin Timberlake is currently filming Bad Teacher with ex-girlfriend and actress Cameron Diaz, he has his next movie role on his mind as well. He signed on to act in the movie Friends With Benefits, which is going to be Directed by Will Gluck. It is a romantic comedy where Timberlake's character dates a girl with the idea of "no strings attached" until he falls for her while she is involved with someone else. It seems like he wants to focus on film rather than music. What do you think of his acting skills?

Toni Braxton Owes IRS

How do all of these muti-millionares end up owing the government? It must be poor deicision making or hiring the wrong business managers. Another celebrity falls victim to "Uncle Sam". Toni Braxton apparently owes the U.S. government $396,000 in unpaid taxes. Braxton's tax information leaked out on the Internet. The IRS filed a lien against her on March 26 in a Georgia Superior Court. Well, it's a good thing she is a beautiful R&B singer. Time for some public relations damage control and another record.

Aaron Carter to Wed

Aaron Carter proposed to girlfriend Maile Huchuli, 19. Apparently, he thought the best place to do so was in the middle of watching Alice in Wonderland in the movie theatre. Really? Carter proposed with a pear-shaped diamond ring and she happily agreed to marry him. Congrats!

This is Carter's second engagement. In 2006, he was engaged to Kari Ann Penichi.

Jesse James Heads to Rehab

Perhaps it is a last attempt to save his marriage to Sandra Bullock, but Jesse James checked himself into a rehab center in Arizona on Monday. James will remain at the Sierra Tucson retreat for 45 days for sex addiction. The estimated cost is around $60,000 for his stay. It has been reported by RadarOnline.com that regardless of his trip to rehab, Bullock will divorce James.

Do You Want to Be on 'Glee'?

This may sound like free advertising but who doesn't love this show? If you have what it takes to be one of the new cast members of Glee then this is your chance to audition. The producers are holding a nationwide casting call starting today, March 30, 2010, to fill three new roles for the second season. If you are betwen the ages of 16-26 and want to audition go to the official myspace page and submit a 5 minute audition video. This is awsome because several of the show's cast members were discovered through a similar process.

The show is a phenomenon and it returns Tuesday, April 13th, at 9pm, on FOX. Who will be the next "Gleek"?

"Harry Potter" Theme Park!

This is very exciting for all the wizard fans out there. On June 18, 2010 a new theme park called the Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure in Orlando Florida. The park will have numerous rides, attractions, and shops for people to enjoy. The cost to create the park is estimated to be in the $230-$260 million range. It sounds like a great investment. Are you excited?

No More Izzie Stevens on "Grey's Anatomy"

Katherine Heigl has announced in Entertainment Weekly that she is finished playing the role of Dr, Isobel Stevens on the hit show, Grey's Anatomy. Heigl was supposed to appear in several more episodes but has reached an agreement with creator, Shonda Rhimes, to be dissmissed from her contract. Heigl claims the decision was exactly what she wanted. Her views of working full-time have been altered since the arrival of her adopted baby girl, Naleigh. Heigl stated, "I know I’m disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one."

Scarlett Johansson Writes Congressman Miller

Time after time celebrities use their notoriety for a good cause. This is one of them. Scarlett Johansson has written Congressman George Miller in order to ask him to support the Healthy School Meals Act of 2010. This act, initiated by Representative Jared Polis, would reward school districts for offering plant-based vegetarian options and healthful non-dairy beverages. Johansson has been an advocate for feeding hungy children and in the letter states the importance of providing children with heathly lunchroom meals filled with more fruits and vegetables in order to promote a healthy lifestyle and to combat childhood obesity.

Johansson wrote, "School is an environment where children develop life skills, skills that help them to become responsible young people who will one day be able to care for themselves. A means to a healthy diet and nutritional education must begin in the school cafeteria, on the lunch line". We should all follow her example and push for this act.

Octomom Homeless?

It appears Nadya Suleman or "Octomom", has fallen behind on recent mortgage payments and may lose her house. The house she bought in 2009 in La Habra is in jeopardy since she has not made the recent mortgage payment of $4,139 or paid the mass amount of $450,000 that was owed on March 10, 2010. The seller, Amer Haddadin, originally sold the house to Sulemen and put the title of the house in Suleman's father's name with the agreement that she would make the monthly payments for one year and pay the large sum on the due date. Now it seems he is pretty upset and a rep for him has been speaking to the media. This isn't the first time either. She has been late on a couple of other payments as well.

Poor kids! It doesn't look like any of the 14 children will ever have a sense of stability because of their mother's choices.

Was Another Woman The Reason Kate Winslet & Sam Mendes Split?

Kate Winslet is a beautiful and talented actress. She seemed to have it all, the career, two children, and a husband. So news of a divorce struck most people by surprise. Apparently, the two split in the beginning of this year and it was amicable. However, there are those that suggest it may have something to do with the amount of time Mendes has been spending with an actress by the name of Rebecca Hall. Although he is currently in New York with the actress, Mendes has stated that the two are only friends. Winslet is currently in Mexico with her children and has said to be leaning on her dear friend Leonardo DiCaprio for support.

The two were married in 2003 and have a son together. Winslet has a daughter from a previous marriage.

Spencer Leaves "The Hills"

Spencer Pratt has announced that he will be leaving the reality show, The Hills, in order to pursue a project that focuses on cyber crime. He plans to work for the American Defense Enterprise. However, it is rumored that he may have been kicked off of the show temporarily for his behavior and an outburst at a female producer which resulted in an alleged threat. Apparently he must undergo several weeks of anger management treatment in order to return.

It seems the love connection between Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jaime Kennedy has fizzled. The two are rumored to have broken up since they have not been seen togeher in some time. Kennedy did not attend a bithday party for Hewitt in February and he was also seen by himself last week at an event where the two were suppose to attend together. They started dating early last year.

Who Gave PETA $2.5 Mil?

Bob Barker of course! Barker, who was a former host of the famous game show The Price Is Right, donated $2.5 million to the organization. The money went to the Bob Barker Building in Los Angeles, which will house PETA's marketing, campaign, youth outreach, and media departments. Barker has been an active advocate for the organization and their many important issues, like encouraging people to spay and neuter their animals as well as promoting the end of fur trading.

According to Ingrid E. Newkirk, the president of PETA, they are very thankful and happy for Barker's generous donation. The building will open on Wednesday.

First "Bachelor" Wedding-Now "Bachelor" Auction?

Molly Melaney and former Bachelor star Jason Mesnick were married on television last night-which means they stood in front of friends, family, and the entire nation thanks to ABC-to commit their lives to one another. Now, they are auctioning off wedding memoribilia on Ebay in order to benefit Jason's charity, Project Parachute, which aids single parents. One of the items listed is a Neil Lane pendant that Molly wore on her magical day.
