Singer, Leona Lewis, was punched in the face by 29-year-old Peter Kowalczyk, at her book signing in London on Wednesday (Oct. 14, 2009). Lewis, there to promote her autobiography titled, Dreams, was signing copies at a book store when Kowalczyk came up and hit her. He was immediately corralled by security and later arrested and charged by police. He will appear in a UK court on Oct. 26, 2009. Lewis was visibly upset and was taken to a hospital for precautions. Apparently, she was even more upset at the fact that she couldn't finish her book signing. Poor Leona! She seems so sweet and unbelievably talented. She's even a vegetarian. Come on! She didn't deserve that.
